2-Install a physical barrier: The physical barrier is one of the most effective ways to contain running bamboo, Bring a barrier made from high-density polyethylene or bamboo rhizome and install it around your plants to prevent the rhizomes from spreading beyond the designated area.
P.S: Your barrier needs to be installed at least 2-3 feet below the ground and 2-3 feet above the soil surface.
